The University of Michigan’s Center for Health Communications Research (CHCR) is the previous registrant of the domain icandecide.org.
CHCR is a shared resource for the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center, a recipient of National Cancer Institute (NCI) funding.
They specialize in customized tailored messaging designed for specific research populations.
In one project, CHCR partnered with Colorado University researchers to improve provider-level communication and recommendation for the HPV vaccine for adolescent patients.
Therefore, it is no surprise to see the University of Michigan registers multiple domains related to vaccinations.
The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) is the registrant of domain since November 2016.
The registration date overlapped with ongoing clinical trials for CHCR’s ICANDECIDE cancer screening tool.
Is this all simply coincidence?

Denise Aguilar was in Washington on Jan. 6, appearing as a featured speaker at the “Health Freedom” stage — one of the many events held hours before a wide range of far-right groups and Trump supporters would storm the Capitol.
Shortly after the riot, Aguilar claimed in a since-deleted Instagram video that “we stormed the Capitol, and patriots broke open the doors” and “we’re taking back our states.” She called the day a “revolution.”
